Resources to link you to our classroom
These websites are for the parents of my students. These are meant to help you with extra practice for your student, as well as, ways to help your student break down the concept for better understanding. There are links below that will help you be more connected to what your student is doing on a daily basis.

Read WorksThis website has tons of resources! There are endless reading passages with attached questions (and answers). The reading passages can be sorted by skill and reading level, along with other criteria. You will need to make a free account. Once you've made a free account, there will be a tab on the top in blue (reading passages). When you hover over it a menu will appear. Click on: Get Reading Passages. When you find an appropriate reading passage, click on the title and it will take you to a new page to download to passage and questions.
Class DojoWe use Class Dojo on a daily basis. This link will take you to the home page where you will need to register your email. You have the code (it was sent home) to log in as a parent or a student.
Book LevelerThis link is a book leveler. You can type in the title of almost any book and this website will give you the reading level of that book. We use the guided reading levels at Alston Ridge. It is a letter associated with the book. Make sure you check the guided reading box before you hit search. This will help you and your student ensure that they are reading books that are just right for them.
Reading LogThis is the reading log that we use on a weekly basis. Download it if you need an extra copy.
